Fundraising /New Minor Works Project

Thanks for the very generous support towards our Parish Renovation Fund: Contributions to date: €124,397

No. of households that contributed: 189

This total includes a tax refund of Charitable Donations of €17,114 from Revenue.

We are also due to receive a VAT refund under the VAT Compensation Scheme shortly and further Tax Charitable Donations refunds are due.

When we receive these refunds, we hope to be very close to our fundraising target of €140,000 that we set for the renovation of the Parochial House.

We have commenced a minor works project to upgrade the toilet facilities and the Sacristy area of the Church. This work will be progressing over the coming weeks.

This work will include removing the carpet and putting down a wooden floor, as well as installing new cabinets to store vestments and Church requisites in the Sacristy.

We are also tidying up the wiring, heating and cables in that area.

Masses will continue as normal in the Church while this work is progressing.
